I’m a human factors and UX researcher drawn to the ways people navigate products, organizations, and everyday systems. I started in Management Information Systems, then earned a master’s in Human Factors Psychology because I wanted to understand the people within those systems, not just the technology.

For more than 15 years, I’ve studied real behavior to help teams make safer, clearer decisions. My work has ranged from driver behavior and vehicle safety to medical devices and digital health. I use interviews, observation, usability studies, and analysis to find the patterns behind what works, what breaks down, and why.

Community work has widened the questions I ask. Leading volunteers and helping organizations understand their members has shown me how much a program’s design, rules, and resources shape participation. I’m interested in applying the same research habits farther upstream, where better evidence can improve programs and systems for more people.

Across these settings, I like bringing different perspectives together, making sense of complexity, and helping people move from uncertainty to practical action.
